Current Interests: Supernova Cosmology, Gravitational Lensing, Tidal Streams, Dark Energy
I am an aspiring Astrophysicist from India who enjoys among a host of other things, music, public speaking, drama, debate and photography. I am currently in the final year of my undergraduate degree in Physics and Astronomy at the University of Hong Kong. Physics has always been my passion and I am particularly interested in learning about the cosmos and probing its many mysteries through the lens of research. Being that I am an undergraduate, I am still in the process of exploring the many areas of interest in the field. Through university, I have however, had the opportunity to work on a number of research projects on topics ranging from supernovae and cosmology to gravitational lensing and dark matter. I am also currently working on a project in the field of Galactic Archaeology and understanding the formation of the Milky Way through stellar streams. While I am still in the process of figuring out what area of astrophysics I would like to specialise in, most recently I have been drawn to the application of machine learning techniques in improving current theoretical models and observational techniques in the field.
